From hype to business impact, much remains to be done

The non-profit association Swiss HR Analytics (SHRA), in collaboration with the ZHAW School of Management and Law and the School of Applied Psychology FHNW, conducted a quantitative survey to find out what the state of HR analytics use is in Swiss companies. 133 Swiss companies took part in the survey.

The Swiss companies surveyed see great potential in HR analytics and are pursuing several objectives (e.g. reducing fluctuation, increasing commitment and improving recruitment quality). However, the majority of companies are still struggling to ensure sufficient data quality and to prove the benefits for the company. In a good half of the companies surveyed, it is already possible to derive initial measures from the analyses. The desire for concrete use cases, for orientation on how data should be prepared and how relevant questions of the company can be answered and processed, is clearly shown in the survey.

Further results of the Pulse Survey are expected to be published in the March 2023 issue of personalSCHWEIZ. If you have any questions about the results, please contact jonas@swisshranalytics.ch at any time.
