LinkedInWorkshop 1: Change of professions — pro-active manage as a company — skills the currency of future co-designers (employees)

Britta Gross
PwC
Britta Gross is a People & Organisation Partner at PwC. She has over 24 years of experience in supporting and implementing HR and organisational transformations. The value of work, knowledge and skills has been with her since her studies at the University of Essen, which she completed with her diploma thesis on ‘Evaluation Methods of Knowledge Management’.
LinkedInThe digital revolution is having just as big an impact on the job profiles required as the industrial revolution once did - we are going through similar phases, but at a faster pace. Some of these changes in job profiles are already the new normal: e.g. software engineering and some are still in their infancy. We are currently experiencing the breakthrough and further expansion of the digital revolution. Existing job profiles are currently changing, new job profiles are emerging and others are disappearing completely. As a result, the majority of careers are no longer linear, and further training is not only the responsibility of each individual, but also of companies in order to be successful. That the way employees are treated is changing to one of co-creation. This has an impact on leadership, culture, training and development, talent development and recruitment. How can this digital expansion be integrated as smoothly as possible into the normal workflow so that it becomes just as ‘normal’ as scheduling is today? This workshop will show you which data you can use to identify which job profiles are changing and how, and which measures you should introduce at an early stage. We will create a to-do list in order to systematically deal with the volatile changes in job profiles in a holistic and different way.
Workshop 2: Titel in Bearbeitung

Sophia Ernst
Microsoft
Sophia Ernst has been working as a Solution Engineer at Microsoft Switzerland since 2022. In her role, she supports companies in designing a modern workplace - with a particular focus on Microsoft Teams and Viva and the use of artificial intelligence in everyday working life. It is a key concern of hers that technological solutions not only facilitate collaboration, but also meet the different needs of employees. As a member of the global Commercial Accessibility Programme, she is also committed to ensuring that artificial intelligence is used inclusively and responsibly.

Workshop 3: The role of psychological empowerment in the use of generative AI

Clemente Minonne
HSLU
Clemente Minonne is Professor of Organisational Psychology and Design with a focus on digital change and the design of sustainable working environments. In his research and teaching, he focuses on the systemic interaction between people, organisations and technology in terms of socio-technical systems. He investigates how work processes, leadership and collaboration can be optimised in dynamic and innovation-driven environments. In addition to his academic work, he advises organisations on organisational development and change processes. He combines scientific findings with practical approaches from 35 years of experience and supports organisations in the introduction of new technologies and the promotion of a sustainable and people-centred corporate culture in complex socio-technical systems.
LinkedInThe successful use of generative AI depends not only on technology, but also on the psychological empowerment of employees. Psychological empowerment - the experience of meaningfulness, competence, self-determination and influence - significantly influences the acceptance and effective integration of GenKI into work processes. In this workshop, key success factors for an AI-supported working environment will be highlighted. Participants will reflect in a practical way on how empowerment can be specifically promoted in order to make collaboration between humans and AI productive. The workshop is aimed at specialists and managers, organisational developers and researchers.
Workshop 4: Focus on fluctuation: definition, target values and measures

Anja Huber
Helsana
Anja Huber has been working at Helsana since 2024 in the role of HR Controller and Data Analyst. Her focus is on further strengthening the already well-founded database in HR at Helsana and using analyses to identify patterns, trends and correlations behind it. She is not only enthusiastic about the world of data, but is also interested in the individual in the corporate context. She was able to build up and deepen this knowledge during her Master's in People Management. She wrote her Master's thesis on the topic of staff turnover and its influencing factors.
LinkedIn
Kurt Häring
Helsana
Kurt Häring is Head of Human Resources Controlling at Helsana Versicherung AG. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the company's HR controlling activities. With his extensive expertise, he makes a significant contribution to the optimisation of HR processes and data-based decision-making at Helsana. Kurt Häring holds a CAS in Strategic HR Controlling from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHW). Before joining Helsana, Kurt Häring was an independent HR consultant. He brings valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of human resources management in various industries and company sizes.
Understanding and analysing employee turnover can provide valuable insights into employee satisfaction and retention in today's dynamic working environment. This can be used to develop proactive measures that strengthen the corporate culture and promote the stability of the company. The workshop ‘Fluctuation in focus: definition, target values and measures’ offers insights into how Helsana evaluates and uses key figures on fluctuation to strengthen data-based decisions. A central topic of the workshop is the common understanding of staff turnover and its use as a target value. Qualitative aspects of staff turnover will also be highlighted and the measures that can be used to positively influence staff turnover will be discussed. The workshop offers the opportunity to exchange experiences, ideas and best practices on the topic of staff turnover in an interactive setting.
Workshop 5: A data-driven method for identifying occupational risk workplaces for depressive symptoms

Sarah Kuhn
FHNW
Sarah Kuhn studied psychology at the University of Basel and holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and epidemiology. Among other things, she specialised in the investigation of risk factors for mental health (including depression, burnout, anxiety). She works as a research assistant at the Institute for Mental and Organisational Health at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland. In her work, she uses various methods and procedures to provide data-based answers to occupational and health psychology questions at individual and group level. She is particularly interested in the use of measurement methods suitable for everyday use (e.g. using smartphones) and the consideration of temporal dynamics in order to explain the mechanisms behind individual thinking and experience and to predict mental health at an early stage.
LinkedIn
Patric Wyss
FHNW
Patric Wyss studied statistics and psychology at the University of Bern and holds a doctorate in biomedical sciences. He specialises in data-driven personalised health diagnostics. He works as a research associate at the Institute for Mental and Organisational Health (MOG) at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland and at the Institute for Social and Preventive Medicine (ISPM) at the University of Bern. He applies statistical methods in both clinical and organisational psychological research. He deals with the prediction of various health problems (e.g. depression, dementia, cardiovascular risk or respiratory infections) by combining different data sources (e.g. questionnaires, smartwatch, imaging techniques or blood values).
LinkedInThe workshop is aimed at those interested in data-driven HR decisions and deals with the identification of work-related risk areas for depressive symptoms. Our statistical approach will be presented and illustrated using data from the Swiss Household Panel Study. The individual risk for depressive symptoms is estimated based on past working conditions and symptoms and compared with the expected risk for the same past symptoms but average working conditions. The results demonstrate the reliability of the method. Participants will also deal with case studies to deepen the practical application.
