Bettina Dürr works at AlgorithmWatch CH as Policy Manager & Researcher. She is mainly concerned with automated decision making in the workplace. Previously, she was a research assistant in the Labor Market Division at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO. She holds an MSc in Global Economy from the University of Glasgow. Prior to her Master's degree, she worked for a national funding foundation in the cultural sector.

Tamara McBride has been working as People Insights & Analytics Manager at Syngenta in Basel since 2018. In this role, she empowers HR and the business to make people-related decisions based on sound data. Her work has contributed significantly to the implementation of analytics projects in key areas such as Leadership & Talent, Performance Management and Diversity & Inclusion. In addition, building and strengthening the data capabilities of the HR function is one of her focus areas. Before joining Syngenta, she held various HR positions at international companies. Among other things, she gained experience at Novartis for over 11 years, specializing in compensation & benefits and the management of HR projects. Her practical experience in Human Resources is underpinned by a solid academic foundation: Tamara studied German and English Literature at the University of Basel and is currently deepening her knowledge with a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology at the University of London, Birkbeck.

Helen Alt

Helen Alt studied political science and German language and literature at the University of Bern. After gaining insights into HR development and HR communications, she set up her own business as an announcer and presenter in 2023 with more than 13 years of radio experience. She hosts the programme Blaton on Bern cultural radio RaBe and regularly leads through the programme of various events. As a voice-over artist, she lends her voice to explanatory videos, adverts, announcements, radio plays and audiovisual experiences. At Bern University of Applied Sciences, she is responsible for communications and events at the Institute for Public Sector Transformation.
